We collect only what the app needs to work: your sign-in details, your nickname, and the rooms and guesses you create.

1. Who we are

Pickseer (“we”, “us”) is an iOS app. Friends join private rooms and guess the results of football and basketball games to play together. It is not a betting app: there is no betting and no money or prizes to win, only points. For any privacy question, email support@pickseer.com.

2. What we collect

What we don’t collect

We don’t collect your location, contacts, photos, phone number, payment details or advertising identifier. The app doesn’t track you across other apps or websites.

Technical data

When the app talks to our servers, your IP address is used to deliver the request, as with any internet service. We don’t store it in our database.

3. Who can see your information

Members of your rooms can see your nickname and your points in that room. They never see your email address.
No other users. Rooms are private and can only be joined with an invite code.

4. Service providers

We use these companies to run Pickseer. Each one handles data only to provide its service to us.

Game schedules, scores and team logos come from a sports data provider. We never send it any information about you.

These providers may store data on servers outside your country. We never sell or rent your information.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, we delete it as described below.

6. Deleting your account

In the app, open Profile and tap Delete account. This happens right away and can’t be undone:

Your email, name and Google or Apple account ID are erased.
If you signed in with Apple, we also tell Apple to disconnect Pickseer from your Apple ID.
Your past guesses and points stay in the rooms you were in, shown as “Former member” with no name or picture, so other members’ standings don’t change.
Rooms you run pass to the member who has been in the room the longest. A room with no other members is deleted.

Deleted information may remain in database backups for a limited time, until those backups are replaced. If you can’t open the app, email us from the address you signed in with and we’ll delete the account for you.

7. Your rights

In the app, you can change your nickname and delete your account. You can also email us to ask for a copy of your information, to correct it or to delete it, and we’ll answer within 30 days.

8. Children

Pickseer is not meant for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has an account, email us and we’ll delete it.

9. Security

All traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted (HTTPS). Your sign-in session is kept in the iPhone Keychain, and access to our database is limited to our server and to us.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top of this page. If a change affects what we collect or who we share it with, we’ll also let you know before it takes effect.
