Common questions

Is Pickseer a betting app?

No. There is no betting in Pickseer, and no money or prizes to win. You just guess results to play with your friends, for points. Points can’t be bought, sold or exchanged for anything.

How do points work?

Football: 3 points for the right result, and 3 more for the exact score, 6 in all. The score after 90 minutes counts, or after 120 minutes if there was extra time. Penalty shootouts don’t count.
Basketball: 3 points for the right winner, including overtime.
A wrong guess earns 0 points.

Until when can I guess?

Until the game starts. Then your guess locks and can’t be changed. If a game is postponed, guesses already made stay, and anyone who hasn’t guessed can still guess until the new start time.

How do I join a friend’s room?

Ask the room’s admin for the invite code (8 letters and numbers), then tap Join Room in the app and enter it.

Which leagues are there?

Football: Premier League, La Liga, UEFA Champions League and Ligat Ha’al. Basketball: NBA, EuroLeague and the Israeli Basketball Super League.

A score looks wrong or late. What now?

Final scores come from our sports data provider and usually appear about two hours after kickoff, or a little later if the game runs long. If a final score is still wrong or missing an hour after the game ends, email us with the game and the room.

How do I change my nickname?

Open Profile and tap Edit profile. Your new nickname shows in all your rooms.

How do I delete my account?

Open Profile and tap Delete account. Your name and email are erased right away. Rooms you run pass to their longest-standing member. The full details are in the Privacy Policy. If you can’t open the app, email us from the address you signed in with.
